Porter wail
As if this were news, Joey Porter has lost it.
In an interview with Keyshawn Johnson, which aired during yesterday’s ESPN telecast of “NFL Kickoff,” the former Steelers and current Dolphins linebacker went off with – and tell me if you heard this before – cheating and video taping allegations against Bill Belichick. He also says that he would have three Super Bowl rings instead of one if it weren't for Memorex.
Here’s a portion of the transcript courtesy AOL’s NFL Fanhouse:
Porter: Because I got cheated.Keyshawn: Cheated in what?
Porter: In both of them AFC championship games.
Keyshawn: What did they do?
Porter: Come on, man. They've been videotaping for years, man. You cannot sit up there and honestly tell me if it wasn't working, why was he doing it so much? You're not going to sit up there and tell me if I'm a quarterback in my headset I know where the blitz is coming. I know where my hots and stuff is at before it happens. I know what play you're running on defense. All you got to do is be in the right position ... just catch the ball.
Keyshawn: So you feel they were cheating. You don't feel they were just the better team?
Porter: What? No, no, no, no. Two times we could have blown them people out easily. They say, oh, he's so smart. This is the best brainstorming coach. Yeah, because he's cheating. He got caught. ... If it wasn't so bad, why did you destroy the tape so fast? ... We want to see the tapes. When you get rid of evidence like that, there was something in it they didn't want everybody to see.
Keyshawn: So you take it personally?
Porter: Maaan... That's my dynasty. You know what I mean? I could be sitting up here with three rings. This is the way I look at it. I played three AFC Championships -- won one, lost two. ... Yeah, to me just like they want to put an asterisk on everything else, yeah, I don't care what they say. They have an asterisk on them. ... At the same time, people that played against them on the field, we know. Who they got on that team beside Tom Brady?
Ah. OK.
This was Porter following yesterday’s 48-28 loss to the Patriots, a game during which he might have prompted a fine or a suspension after refusing to leave despite the insistence of head coach Tony Sparano: “I ain't talkin' to the media.”
Of course not. Nobody backs up his huge, uninformed mouth with less than Joey Porter.

i bet if you ever ran into porter, maybe in vegas or something, he'd back up his words upside your funny shaped little bald head.
by the way, how many super bowls have been won by the patriots since spygate?
Clearly the Pats must've been cheating. The winning couldn't have had anything to do with the fact that they finished 6th, 1st, and 4th in the NFL in total defense during their three Superbowl years. Must've been the VHS.
An angry Joey is a good Joey, usually. Now Sparano has to sit him next week to make a statement. It will be very interesting to see how long Parcells will tolerate Porter. Trading him while his value is sky high ( 13 1/2 sacks ) is probably not out of the realm of possibility. On the flip side, he is our only pro bowl defender. As the World Turns in Dolphin Nation. I know, I was wrong too about Sunday, I can take it like a man all of you haters. We'll get you next time.
WOW! hahaha All I can say is wow! Sore losers are pathetic.
Go Pats!
Benji, there's been one Super Bowl since spygate. There's been one full season since spygate. And the Patriots had the greatest regular season every during that season. What's your point?
He cold, man. The boy cold. He cold. He cold.
Kordell Stewart threw two interceptions in the final three minutes of the 2002 AFC championship game . I bet he was in on it too. New England also only scored ONE offensive TD. In the 24-17 win. Pittsburgh also ran for only 19 yards. I bet Troy Brown used video tape to know exactly where the Steelers were on that 55 yard punt return for a TD too.The blocked field goal and Troy Brown lateral to Antwan Harris return for TD = also due to video tape. Was Joey Porter even at that game? What an idiot.
