Brave-hearted

This kid seems perhaps a little too upset over John Smotlz moving on to Boston.

“Do you not see the disconnect there, buddy?”

So, let’s do the equation here. Smoltz has a lack of “class and dignity” for jumping ship, while a possible Braves fill-in like Ken Griffey Jr., who basically forced a trade out of Seattle in 1999 because the Mariners couldn't pay him what he was set to demand as a pending free agent, is a guy that defines “class and dignity.” Got it.

  1. Put some shoes on, quit scratching your crotch, stop saying umm and please lose the Clint Eastwood tough guy act then maybe the world ( and Smoltz) will take you seriously. You make all of us in the south look like idiots. YOU ARE ABOUT AS SMART AS A BABOON!

  1. "I know you pitched nine scoreless innings, but we lost that day because of you."

Classic stuff... Way to know your baseball, kid.

  1. Do you even follow baseball? Griffey wanted to play for his dad's team. He took much less money then he could have gotten to play there. Learn your baseball history man.

  1. While I found this video pretty funny, I find it odd that you would give it any play on what is supposed to be a serious news site. You even responded to the things he said in the video. The best thing to do with guys like this is ignore them.

  1. "Braves Nation?"

"I really don't remember any consequential game you ever winned for us."

"Think about all the great players in Braves history. We had Sid Bream sliding in."

"Jack Morris outpitched you." referring to Game 7 of the 1991 World Series, where Smoltz's line was 7.1 IP, 0 R, 1 BB, 4 K, 6 H. The Braves did not lose that game because of Smoltz. "We lost because of you."

This kid probably wasn't old enough to have watched that game.

Almost all of his facts are incorrect.

He's just not smart enough to back any of his "points".
