Yes, Red Sox fans are irate, irate I tell ya, about the fact that Opening Night against the Yankees isn't during the day for the traditional See and Be Seen Affair.

I mean, I don't know about you, but when I'm seeking the pulse of Red Sox fans, I turn to Upstairs on the Square chef Mary-Catherine Deibel, KISS 108 national sales manager Mary Menna, Dan Andelman, and other boldfacers who appear in the local names columns. But at least now we know that Patrick Lyons ("Icky idea") will be spending the evening in St. Bart's. Die-hard there.

How on earth was Ernie Boch, Jr. not quoted in this article?
