Terribly unfair.

Terribly, heartbreakingly unfair.

One can only imagine what was going through Patriots owner Bob Kraft's mind as he sat in boardroom after boardroom these last few months arguing over billions of dollars while there was the very real possibility he would lose his wife before any resolution came to pass. Now, on the cusp of helping the NFL come to a proper arrangement with its players, Bob Kraft loses the love of his life as he fights to save another.

Myra Kraft died this morning after a battle with cancer. She was 68.

The entire NFL world seemingly is sending their condolences to the Krafts today, not to mention the thousands locally and internationally that Myra's philanthropy touched. Meanwhile, Kraft has to deal with losing his wife by discussing a CBA and majority votes.

It's not fair.

Everybody, fans, players, owners should be angry about the NFL lockout. But nobody should be more annoyed with it than Bob Kraft, who had to deal with the daily battles while his wife fought an ultimate one.
