It was Michael Ryder's turn with the Stanley Cup today, and the former Bruins forward brought it to his hometown of Bonavista, Newfoundland, where there was a parade and a public viewing of the Cup.

It was at that viewing that things got a little bit hairy for the Lord Stanley's prize. On a clearly windy day, Ryder placed the Cup on a table, and it proceeded to take a dive worthy of P.K. Subban.

"First dent of the day," Ryder cracked.

Footage of the incident, courtesy the St. John's Telegram. We'll try to keep you up to date on how many dents Ryder plans to inflict on the thing.
