Valentine signs deal to appear weekly with Michael Kay in New York
Bobby Valentine hasn't even made his first official move in a Red Sox uniform, and already he has fans scratching their heads with an uneasy anticipation toward Opening Day. Well, add one more oddity to the pile.
According to a Tweet from New York Daily News media columnist Bob Raissman this morning, Valentine has signed a deal to appear weekly on ESPN-1050.
In New York.
With Michael Kay.
This is not three days late, people.
The segment will pit the Red Sox manager against a Yankees TV host for what should be some … uh, something. John Williams should have just used an organ grinder for his "Theme for Fenway" and been done with it.
The segment debuts today.
