Toronto touches up Tavarez

This is not the outing that Julian Tavarez was looking for coming off his worst start of the year in Detroit last Friday, when he allowed eight runs on 10 hits. The Sox No. 5 starter is not faring much better this evening. He just allowed four runs on four hits in the top of the third, including uncorking a wild pitch that allowed the first Blue Jays runner to cross the plate as Toronto erased a 2-0 Boston lead.
