Red Sox coverage in today’s Globe

Walt Dropo passed away at the age of 87. The “Big Moose From Moosup” was a three-sport UConn legend who was the AL Rookie of the Year for the Sox in 1950 and once had hits in a record 12 consecutive trips to the plate.
