Every little thing should be all right in right tonight.
Red Sox outfielder Shane Victorino has been activated from the disabled list and will play in his first game of the season when the Sox and Yankees square off in the final game of the series at Fenway Park tonight.
Victorino will play right field and bat second in the rubber game of the three game set with New York. Victorino is batting .409/.409/.500 against CC Sabathia, tonight’s starter for the Yankees. Dustin Pedroia will stay in the leadoff position, where he’s had success of late.
The 33-year-old Victorino has been rehabbing from a right hamstring strain he suffered during the final game of spring training. He batted batted .294/.351/.451 with 15 homers last season in helping the Red Sox to a World Series title.
