Moss: ‘We haven’t met our expectations’

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady made clear Wednesday he believes the Patriots, 14 games into their season, have yet to find their offensive identity. Today in the locker room, wide receiver Randy Moss concurred with his quarterback, saying the Patriots have not met their expectations as an offense, but that he couldn’t put a finger on why.

“I believe that,” Moss said. “I believe we’re looking for an identity. The fact [is] that we haven’t met our expectations as an offense and really been able to execute for four quarters. There’s a feeling out period. It’s actually kind of late in the season for us to be trying to feel it out.

“But it is what is, and we’ll just leave it at that. We’re just going to keep fighting, and whatever happens, happens.”
