A look at the roster’s stability

Two weeks from today, barring a last-minute, Hail Mary of a CBA agreement, the 2010 league year will be underway and the salary cap will be gone.

As you guys are aware of by now, Leigh Bodden, Derrick Burgess, Kevin Faulk, Jarvis Green, Chris Hanson, Stephen Neal and Benjamin Watson are scheduled to be unrestricted free agents, Logan Mankins, Stephen Gostkowski, and Pierre Woods are set to be restricted free agents. Vince Wilfork will likely be franchised by then or, it’s possible, signed to a long-term deal.

But those 14 players don’t make a full roster.

I’ve heard a lot of talk in the last week or so about the stability of the franchise, and the level to which the window of opportunity is still open. So I thought you guys would appreciate a look at the contract status of those who remain signed for 2010. And here it is, with the players sorted by the final years of their respective deals …
