Patriots do right by Conn. middle schoolers

So we all remember the story last week when the Patriots were falsely blamed for leaving some middle schoolers on Connecticut in the lurch — when school officials were expecting a player visit they were never promised for participating in the Fuel Up to Play 60 program, kids were disappointed…right?

Well even though it wasn’t their responsibility — the New England Dairy & Food Council claimed blame — the Pats made it up to the kids and staff at Lebanon Middle School in a major way on Wednesday: Bill Belichick and Dan Koppen traveled to visit the kids and brought Pat Patriot along for good measure.

Here’s a clip of the festivities…and kudos to the Patriots for going out of their way to correct a mixup they weren’t responsible for causing.
