That headline’s not exactly the precursor for earth-shattering news.

But Patriots owner Robert Kraft did reiterate this morning at the club’s charitable foundation’s “Leadership Blitz” that he’s excited to see the club get out there, en masse, tomorrow.

“Well, I’m going to let you ask the coach, but in my opinion, the day I was out there was great. I’m very excited about this team,” Kraft said this morning on the field. “Having seen so many of the young people from last year and seeing this year’s draft class combined with that, you know, that this is a business of quality depth management and you need depth.”

“So whether it’s the secondary, wide receiver — look at the tight end situation — I’m hoping that we get the execution that we all hope for, but I can’t wait for football to start. I’m excited about this team.”

Kraft talked with us late last week, too, about the youthful look of this year’s squad, and also about the “Blitz” and how it came to replace the team’s golf tournament.

ALSO: The Patriots have announced that single-game tickets will go on sale next Monday, June 21, at noon. Tickets can only be purchased via ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000. Only Visa cards or debit cards will be accepted; tickets will NOT be sold at the Patriots box office at Gillette Stadium.
