New England announced Saturday evening that it has released OL Elvis Fisher and WR Lavasier Tuinei.
Fisher, listed at 6-foot-5, 300 pounds, was an undrafted rookie out of Missouri. He was signed on May 3.
Tuinei was signed on Thursday. The 6-foot-4, 200 pound Oregon product was originally signed by Seattle in 2012, and spent much of last season on the Seahawks’ practice squad.
Tuinei was not on the field for practice on Saturday; Fisher was in uniform but saw limited action.
