Patriots bring back Marquice Cole, cut Josh Kline

The Patriots continued to make moves after Saturday’s deadline to finalize the team’s 53-man roster.

The team announced it had re-signed cornerback Marquice Cole Monday, who was released a day prior, and had cut offensive lineman Josh Kline.

Cole, 29, was widely seen as the team’s fourth best cornerback and a core special teams player when he was cut. He accounted for 16 combined tackles during the preseason and two passes defensed.

Kline is an undrafted rookie out Kent State who has played both guard and tackle. He is eligible for the practice squad.
