Another walk-through practice for Patriots

FOXBOROUGH – The Patriots have opted for a second consecutive walk-through practice in preparation for Thursday night’s home opener against the Jets, working out on the upper grass field behind Gillette Stadium on Tuesday morning.

Players were in shorts and t-shirts. No pads, and very few players brought helmets. The only notable players not spotted were receiver Danny Amendola and running back Shane Vereen.

Amendola has a groin injury, but participated in Monday’s walk-through on a limited basis. Vereen, who broke a bone in his wrist during Sunday’s win at Buffalo, was the only player to miss Monday’s session.
