Final: Patriots 30, Falcons 23

In the end, it all came down to the Patriots’ defense.

Aqib Talib broke up a fourth-down pass to Roddy White in the end zone with less than a minute remaining as the Patriots held on to beat the Atlanta Falcons, 30-23.

Matt Bryant nailed a 25-yard field goal to help the Falcons pull within seven, then Atlanta got the ball back when the Patriots botched the snap on fourth-and-inches to get a final shot.

Kenbrell Thompkins caught six passes for 127 yards and a touchdown and Brady threw for 316 yards and two touchdowns as the Patriots improved to 4-0.
