Best rookie class ever?
This year’s NFL rookie quarterbacks have been gathering a lot of attention and generating comparisons to another rookie class that included three dynamic stars—the one in 1983 that brought John Elway, Dan Marino, and Jim Kelly into the league. But while Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, and Russell Wilson get most of the attention among the 2012 rookies, there were some other impressive performers on offense and defense, including one of our own Patriots. Which, if any, will join the aforementioned QBs in the Hall of Fame, only time will tell. But it’s worth taking note of the rookies in starting roles making impacts on their teams, some of which are in high-stakes playoff hunts.
