Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin will miss Sunday’s NFC championship game after he was not cleared by doctors following a concussion suffered in last week’s playoff game against New Orleans.

New Orleans safety Rafael Bush was fined $21,000 by the NFL on Friday for his hit on Harvin during the NFC Divisional playoff game. Harvin did not practice all week.

Seattle coach Pete Carroll said after practice Friday that Harvin had not cleared league-mandated protocols for concussion testing. Harvin’s loss subtracts a significant playmaker from Seattle’s offense heading into the game against the 49ers.
