Terrell Owens's NFC-leading 14 receiving TDs have him within one of Frank Clarke's Dallas record, set in 1962 . . . The Cowboys' Jason Witten, who leads NFC tight ends in catches (88), is trying to become the second tight end in NFL history with 100 in one season . . . Of note: Eli Manning needs 26 passing yards and 1 TD to join Phil Simms as the only Giants quarterbacks with more than 3,000 yards passing and 20-plus TD tosses in three consecutive seasons . . . Two lowlights of the Giants' loss to the Redskins last weekend: Manning completed just 18 of his 52 pass attempts for 184 yards, the most incompletions in an NFL game since the Jets' Joe Namath misfired 36 times against Denver in 1967; and tight end Jeremy Shockey suffered a broken leg . . . The Giants' Brandon Jacobs rushed for 130 yards against Washington, but also dropped five passes . . . Texans defensive end Mario Williams has nine sacks in his last five games, including a career-best 3 1/2 last week. He ranks second in the NFL with 13 sacks . . . Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning has a 10-1 career record against Houston, an opponent he has burned for 26 TD passes (against just four interceptions) and a 118.5 rating . . . The Colts are 10-2 when Joseph Addai carries the ball 20 or more times.
