Free agent WR Troy Brown undecided on NFL future
HUNTINGTON, W.Va.—Free agent wide receiver Troy Brown says he's undecided on whether he wants to play a 16th season in the NFL.
The New England Patriots recently announced they wouldn't re-sign Brown, who holds franchise records for receptions and punt returns.
Brown says he's in no hurry to make a decision. He hosted a fantasy football camp recently at Marshall University, his alma mater.
Brown helped Marshall win the 1992 Division I-AA championship and was drafted by the Patriots the following spring. He has 557 career receptions for 6,366 yards.
