It’s time to find out how well you did on draft night.

Or how poorly you did.

Bye weeks begin on Sunday in the NFL, and four teams - Carolina, Philadelphia, Arizona, and Atlanta - have the week off. If you’ve built some depth and have some talent on your bench, you’ve given yourself a chance to maintain whatever you’ve accomplished thus far.

But if some of your top players are idle this week and your bench is littered with guys like Ladell Betts, Samkon Gado, and Laurence Maroney (I may or may not be referring to my bench), you’ve got some work to do.

We’re here to help.

Three up:
Glen Coffee, RB, San Francisco: With Frank Gore out for three weeks, this rookie from Alabama is the no-brainer pickup of the week. Coffee (right) may not be as prolific as Gore as a pass-catcher but he’ll assume all of Gore’s carries.

Andre Caldwell, WR, Cincinnati: Caldwell is developing a rapport with quarterback Carson Palmer that cannot be ignored; only Chad Ochocinco has been thrown to more. A former Florida standout, Caldwell has 14 catches, 122 yards, and a touchdown in three games.

Kevin Walter, WR, Houston: Walter is owned in most leagues but often spends his Sundays on fantasy benches. If you have him, start him this week. Houston’s star receiver, Andre Johnson, will be matched against top corner Nnamdi Asomugha of the Raiders, so Walter could duplicate the 96 receiving yards he had last week. This is a great time to sell high on Walter, too.

Three down:
Joe Flacco, QB, Baltimore: Flacco was likely selected in the later rounds of your draft, so you probably have another decent quarterback option. Sit Flacco this week. He’s been putting up big numbers, but New England is going to do its best to lock him down (the Patriots are allowing just 174 yards through the air) and slug it out on the ground in a tight game.

Marshawn Lynch/Fred Jackson, RBs, Buffalo: Jackson emerged during Lynch’s three-game suspension as a real threat, but Lynch is returning and Bills coach Dick Jauron is hinting he may split their carries. Be wary of starting either.

Fred Taylor, RB, New England: Taylor remains a solid back, but as if it weren’t a difficult enough decision to put him in your lineup because of the Patriots’ committee approach in the backfield, now Taylor is matched up against Baltimore. Are you really going to start him against a Ravens defense that allows just 51 yards per game?
