Who: San Diego at Tennessee
Time, TV: 7:30 p.m., NFL Network
Records: Chargers 11-3 (7-7-0 vs. spread); Titans 7-7 (7-6-1 vs. spread).
Comments: The Chargers have locked up the AFC West but are going for a No. 2 seed. They have won nine straight since starting 2-3. But the Titans’ comeback was even better: they’re trying to go from an 0-6 start to a playoff berth. Tennessee LB Keith Bulluck is out for the season after tearing an ACL in his knee last week, and David Thornton is also sidelined. The Titans will throw rookie Gerald McRath into the breach against one of the league’s best attacks; San Diego QB Philip Rivers is the AFC’s leading passer. The Chargers must defend QB Vince Young and RB Chris Johnson, who is 270 yards shy of becoming the sixth player in NFL history to rush for 2,000 yards in a season.![]()
