CHARLOTTE, N.C.—Police are investigating the reported theft of four guns worth $1,700 from a truck owned by Carolina Panthers backup linebacker Kion Wilson.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg says in a report that Wilson reported robbers broke into his F250 truck. He says they stole a FN 57 handgun, a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun, a Glock 23, and a Smith and Wesson Body Guard 380.

Wilson says he discovered the break-in while driving after stopping at store parking lot near Northlake Mall on Monday.

Police say the door lock on the truck was also damaged.

Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Sgt. Brian Foley says police are checking out surveillance camera footage but have no suspects. He wouldn't say if the firearms are registered to Wilson, citing the privacy of the investigation.
