Patriots-Ravens rivalry history

The Ravens are like the new Colts for the Patriots. They've played each other eight times since the Ravens hatched in 1996. New England has won the six regular season games. Baltimore was victorious in the 2010 wild-card match, but the last game of the rivalry earned the Patriots a trip to the Super Bowl.

There has been some trash talk. In January 2011 Raven linebacker Terrell Suggs told Sirius NFL radio that Tom Brady’s three Super Bowl wins are “questionable,’’ citing the Tuck Rule game and Spygate. The year before Brady quipped, "They talk a lot for beating us once in nine years.’’
