The New England Patriots will honor retired running back Kevin Faulk with a special halftime ceremony during their game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, the team announced.

After 13 seasons with the team, Faulk announced his retirement on Oct. 9. He holds numerous Patriots records, including all-purpose yardage.

Coach Bill Belichick called Faulk the “gold standard of teamwork, commitment, performance and winning,” when Faulk announced he was leaving the game.
