The golden age of NFL rookie quarterbacks

Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers
Newton started the recent rookie quarterback trend with a spectacular debut in 2011. The No. 1 pick threw for over 4,000 yards, completed 60 percent over his passes, and gained an eye-popping 700 yards on the ground. Newton turned on its head the notion that mobile quarterbacks like Michael Vick were becomning dated Newton has come back to earth a bit this season, but his future is very bright.
