Red Sox owner John Henry didn't tweet anything controversial on July 16, but his last Twitter missive is funny because of just how wrong his prediction turned out to be. The Red Sox were 46-44 and Jacoby Ellsbury and Carl Crawford were back on the field together, batting 1-2. The Sox, of course, would go on to finish in last place, and Crawford would be traded to the Dodgers as part of a massive salary dump. Great second half? Not so much.
Jacoby and CarlOn the field together.Finally. Should be a great second half. twitter.com/John_W_Henry/s?— John W. Henry (@John_W_Henry) July 16, 2012
