Somewhere between 80-90 credentialed media were at Gillette Stadium on Tuesday, the first day of Patriots’ mandatory minicamp, with reporters from CNN, ESPN, NFL Network, USA Today, four of New York’s daily newspapers, and even NPR on hand, all to see and hear from Tim Tebow, who joined the Patriots hours earlier.
After practice, Tebow gave a brief statement about signing with the Patriots; before practice, Bill Belichick met with the masses on hand, fielding 26 questions (out of 32) specifically about his team’s newest quarterback, who projects to be third on the depth chart.
