CINCINNATI — Another week, another game that Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will miss. He has been ruled out for Sunday’s matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Gronkowski has missed all five games this season, despite practicing every week. He is working his way back after multiple surgical procedures in the offseason on his forearm and back. He was listed on Friday’s injury report as questionable to play against the Bengals, but did not make the trip here.
Receiver Danny Amendola was also listed as questionable, but was not one of the two players downgraded by the team on Saturday, improving his chances of a return. Amendola has missed the last three games after suffering a groin injury in the season-opening win at Buffalo. Full story for BostonGlobe.com subscribers.
