FOXBOROUGH — Though the Patriots and Broncos met in Week 12 of the regular season, there have been several personnel changes for both teams in the time since.
Tight end Julius Thomas, who had a breakout season for Denver with 65 receptions for 788 yards and 12 touchdowns after a total of one catch over his first two years, missed that game against New England and the following game against Kansas City because of a knee injury.
Now, he’s one more player the Patriots defenders have to account for.
