The Patriots have re-signed safety Patrick Chung, according to a press release from the team.
The 26-year-old Chung played 12 games for the Eagles last season, starting 10 of them and totaling 56 tackles. Philadelphia released him this offseason. The Patriots made Chung the 34th overall pick in the 2009 draft, and he spent four seasons with New England. His first stint with the Patriots did not end well, as Chung played three total snaps in the team’s two playoff games.
