Although they gave the Patriots all they could handle in a 38-35 New England victory in the regular-season finale, coach Bill Belichick said the Giants had "certainly improved dramatically as a football team" after winning three playoff games - on the road, no less - to earn a berth opposite the undefeated AFC champions in Super Bowl XLII ...
