Patriots trim the roster
Washington and Yates released
The Patriots trimmed two backups off their roster yesterday, releasing receiver Kelley Washington and offensive lineman Billy Yates, and in the process sliced about $1.7 million off their 2009 salary cap. (Full article: 237 words)
