Brady's bunch
GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Patriots quarterback Tom Brady drew the largest crowd during this morning's Media Day and there was still a strong pack around him as the session ended shortly after 1 p.m (Eastern time).
Brady, who fielded football and ankle-related questions in the early going, drew a hodgepodge of topics in the later part of the approximately 60-minute session. Those queries included ones about his Irish heritage, playing golf at Pebble Beach, and Al Gore's film "An Inconvenient Truth."
One humorous exchange occurred at the tail end, when teammate and fellow Michigan product Pierre Woods dropped by with his own camera and microphone to ask Brady a question.
Brady turned the table by pulling out his own camcorder, then relaying a story about how Woods told him he was only going to fill his rental car 87-octane gas instead of his typical 93.
"Going to save him $2," said Brady. "That's a smart young man."
Brady then revealed that he drives a hybrid vehicle before bringing up Gore's film on global warming.
