LONDON -- In pregame warmups, Matthew Slater -- a safety of late -- is lining up at receiver with Tom Brady's group.

Could be important here since New England's only two reliable wideouts here are Randy Moss and Wes Welker. So if the Patriots want to spread the Bucs out the traditional way (and not by splitting Kevin Faulk out or putting Ben Watson in the slot), they'll need to find another receiver to do it.

Slater would be in a group with just-activated rookie Brandon Tate, and special teams captain Sam Aiken to vie for those reps.
