FOXBOROUGH -- Jarvis Green made a stop in the Patriots locker room today but didn't want to talk about reports that he underwent knee surgery last week.

As a host of reporters scrambled to talk to the defensive lineman, who is in his eighth season, Green said, "I can't talk today; I'm off limits."

Green didn't appear to have a limp as he exited the locker room. Patriots defensive lineman Mike Wright said losing Green will be difficult.

"It's tough losing any player on the defense, but we're going to let Jarvis handle his business and we're going to take care of what we can on the field," Wright said.
