Center Dan Koppen and wide receiver Julian Edelman, both questionable for tonight's game, were on the field pregame. Koppen, who left last week's game with a knee injury, is chatting fellow BC alum and Colts safety Jamie Silva. He walked gingerly off of the field.

Edelman, who has missed two games with a broken forearm, ran a post pattern and caught a pass from backup quarterback Brian Hoyer. He was wearing a small cast on his right forearm. He was also working with members of the Patriots training staff. Having Edelman back tonight would be a big plus because Brandon Tate, who helped replace Edelman, was placed on injured reserve last night, ending his season. Edelman is still running some pass patterns.

Dan Connolly is snapping to Hoyer as he continues to throw some warm-up passes. Sebastian Vollmer is also on the field, and Brandon McGowan took a walk around wearing a white tank top and gray sweat pants.

What does it all mean? We'll see when the inactives are released.
