The Patriots added tight end Rob Myers to their practice. Myers, a rookie from Utah State, will replace Robbie Agnone, whom the Patriots placed on practice squad injured reserve. Agnone dislocated his shoulder in the final practice of last week.

Myers spent much of training camp with the Philadelphia Eagles before being cut. He tried out for the Browns and Packers over the past few weeks before the Patriots called Friday. “It’s been a crazy process,” Myers said. The Patriots chose Myers over Buck Ortega, who also worked out for them Monday.

“I don’t know a single person on this team,” Myers said. “Hopefully everybody is nice.”
