Here's how the Patriots employed the personnel offensively on Sunday. And how the Colts did it with theirs, by comparison:

PATRIOTS

"11" Personnel (1 RB/1 TE): 37 snaps (14 first half/23 second half)
"12" Personnel (1 RB/2 TE): 15 snaps (8/7)
"10" Personnel (1 RB/0 TE): 5 snaps (3/2)
"20" Personnel (2 RB/0 TE): 4 snaps (3/1)
"22" Personnel (2 RB/2 TE): 3 snaps (2/1)
"23" Personnel (2 RB/3 TE): 3 snaps (2/1)
"13" Personnel (1 RB/3 TE): 3 snaps (0/3)
"21" Personnel (2 RB/0 TE): 1 snap (0/1)

COLTS

"11" Personnel (1 RB/1 TE): 33 snaps (23/10)
"12" Personnel (1 RB/2 TE): 27 snaps (11/16)

... In the second half, the Colts went two tights more often, seemingly to free the offense to move Dallas Clark around. His biggest impact was felt in clearing out, and taking coverage with him, for underneath receivers. ... When the Patriots went with the "11" grouping (they were in it almost exclusively late), it was just about always with Isaiah Stanback lined up as the "X" receiver on the outside. ... The Patriots used Mark LeVoir as a tight end for a handful of snaps (more on that later). But with Dan Connolly pressed into action at guard, it there were only two snaps with a fullback in the game.
