Safety Brandon Meriweather and kicker Stephen Gostkowski were the only two Patriots named to the midseason All-Pro team compiled by Sports Illustrated's Peter King.

Peyton Manning edged Tom Brady at quarterback and Chargers' Vincent Jackson and Texans' Andre Johnson got the nod over Randy Moss at receiver.

King also named Manning as his first-half MVP, and former Patriots assistant coach Josh McDaniels, now head coach of the Broncos, as his top coach.
