The morning after Tom Brady was named to his fifth Pro Bowl, he earned another award: AFC Offensive Player of the Week.

On Sunday, Brady completed 23 of 26 passes, the most accurate regular-season passing day of his career. He also threw four touchdowns, three of them to Randy Moss. Brady won the Player of the Week award for the third time this season -- he also won after wins over Buffalo in Week 1 and Tennessee in Week 6.

Update, 11:29 a.m.: The Patriots officially announced Brady's teammates selected him to receive the 2009 Ed Block Courage Award. It is an award for a player who best exemplifies the principles of courage and sportsmanship while also serving as a source of inspiration.
