Belichick addresses report on Reese, Licht
During his Tuesday conference call moments ago, Patriots coach Bill Belichick deflected questions about the Seahawks' reported interest in director of pro personnel Jason Licht and senior football adviser Floyd Reese.
"There’s a process in place for those types of thing, right now, we're focused on Jacksonville," Belichick said. "Any questions about that should go to the league office, or the people involved."
Asked specifically about the ability of Licht and Reese, Belichick reiterated his respect for and appreciation of the work of both men.
But the coach left it at this: "I’d say right now what they’re focused on is beating Jacksonville. Right now, that’s all anybody’s doing."
Director of player personnel Nick Caserio echoed Belichick's sentiments.
"Both are experienced, both have been in the league ... I think our whole department has worked well collectively."
