FOXBOROUGH -- Patriots linebacker Adalius Thomas spent approximately 10 minutes yesterday explaining the circumstances and his feelings about being sent home after arriving for a meeting late on Wednesday due to the weather.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick didn't give the topic more than a couple of sentences when asked about it today.

When Belichick was asked for his response to Thomas's comments, he replied: "My focus is on the Carolina Panthers, that's what I've been working on all week."

Any question about the events of earlier this week led to the standard response from Belichick:

"Just trying to get ready for Carolina. That's the way it is most every other week. Everybody tries to get ready for whoever it is we're playing. This week it's Carolina."
