According to the NFLPA's official Web site, interior lineman Dan Connolly has received a two-year extension from the New England Patriots.
Union documents indicate that Connolly will make $600,000 next year, and $725,000 in 2011.
Connolly has, in many ways, been Russ Hochstein's replacement. He's capable of backing up all three inside offensive line spots and has, like Hochstein did, lined up as a goal-line fullback.
Connolly has started the last three games at right guard, taking the injured Stephen Neal's spot. He also subbed for Dan Koppen at points.
