Last week, Charlie Weis came off the assistant coach market. And now Romeo Crennel is joining him, and former co-workers Scott Pioli and Todd Haley in Kansas City, according to Vinny DiTrani of the Bergen Record.

The four men worked together with the Jets from 1997-99, and as all of you know, Crennel, Weis and Pioli were each part of three championships here in New England.

So now, those three, and ex-Patriot offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, populate the AFC West. Crennel was also under consideration for the Giants defensive coordinator position, and might've even garnered interest from the Dolphins, who dismissed Paul Pasqualoni today as their defensive coordinator, if he were still available.
