Bill Belichick's favorite player, Ed Reed, had himself quite an afternoon Sunday ... Four tackles, two passes defensed and one big pick. And he also was, in part, responsible for providing over-the-top coverage on Randy Moss.

So this being a friendly place for him, here's his take on a few things today:

On how Baltimore got its swagger back on defense after a rough start ... "The one thing about this defense – The swag don’t leave, man. Ain’t never gonna leave. The swag was here when I got here, before I got here, and it’ll be here when I leave. That’s what we’re built on. That’s the tradition we have. And we’re gonna keep fighting that way."

On Vince Wilfork's 13-tackle effort ... "Vince is a Hurricane, I knew he had fight. He’s gonna come out with that attitude to win the game. We always prepared to go undefeated, as Hurricanes, so I know these guys are gonna fight."

On what he said to Wes Welker at the coin flip ... "Wes Welker, he works hard all the time, and like I told him, ‘Get healthy.’ The game needs him, a guy like that."
