Breaking down the Pats' dozen
After being awarded a league-high four compensatory picks, the Patriots have more picks -- 12 -- than any other team (Cleveland also has a dozen) in April's draft.
And it'll be critical, given the holes on the roster, to hit on a few of those.
What can be expected? Well, the draft brings a lot of unknown, but I figured we could, at the very least, paint a picture for you.
So here's the last three guys selected in each of the dozen slots the Patriots will be picking out of, starting four weeks from today (and check out how the 250 seems to be a pretty lucky number down below):
22nd overall
2007: QB Brady Quinn, Browns
2008: RB Felix Jones, Cowboys
2009: WR Percy Harvin, Vikings
44th overall
2007: WR Sidney Rice, Vikings
2008: RB Matt Forte, Bears
2009: QB Pat White, Dolphins
47th overall
2007: LB David Harris, Jets
2008: DT Trevor Laws, Eagles
2009: S Michael Mitchell, Raiders
