Wanted action? You just might have it.

NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reported moments ago on Twitter that the Patriots and Eagles have put in offers to Julius Peppers and his agent Carl Carey, as Peppers and Co. go through their visit with the Bears.

I haven't been able to confirm it yet, but we're working on that.

Also, the Houston Chronicle's John McClain forecast that the Texans could make a run at Patriots free-agent G Stephen Neal.

More in a bit ...

One thing to add here at 11:31 a.m.: Do not be surprised if the Peppers camp is using the Eagles and Patriots to try and push Chicago to put even more money on the table. The Bears are under tremendous pressure, and this works to turn the heat up another notch.
