Just arrived at the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes for some quality lobby sitting with my new Globe teammate. And it's a pretty nice place.

Maybe a slight step down from the site of last year's meetings, but no one's roughing it here.

As we checked in, I caught a peek at the guest list here. The Patriots' contingent: Owner Robert Kraft, president Jonathan Kraft, coach Bill Belichick, and director of player personnel Nick Caserio, plus their respective significant others and a couple of PR folks. Hopefully, we'll be talking to every last one of them over the next few days.

In addition to the rules changes and business matters taken care of here, there also promises to be trade talks. So there could actually be some player movement in the coming days, or the way could be paved for some transactions down the line.

We'll keep you posted on that, and everything else, right here.
